Rhubarb & Custard Martini
50ml Chase Rhubarb Vodka
35ml Rhubarb Syrup
15ml Lemon Juice
1 Egg White
- Add all of the ingredients to a shaker without ice (dry shaking) and shake for 15 seconds.
- Now add ice to the shaker (wet shaking) and shake for a further 15 seconds.
- Double strain into a coupe glass.
- Garnish with lemon zest.
To make the rhubarb syrup simply poach some rhubarb and when done add equal amounts of sugar and water to a pan, followed by the rhubarb, and simmer until thickened. Strain into a container and leave to cool before use.
The cocktail is best enjoyed whilst sitting by The Temple – the most romantic spot in the hotel’s gardens.
