Pride of Britain Hotels’ Platinum Jubilee series moves next to the South West of England, where impressive RAF air displays, majestic hotels fit for royalty, and charming Jubilee garden parties, will all mark Her Majesty’s 70 years on the throne.
Special Platinum Jubilee celebrations
At The Royal Bath & West Show (2-4 June), a showcase of great British food, drink and the countryside, various activities will take place to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. The Somerset showground will come alive with a vintage fairground and the sound of music, plus there will be Platinum Jubilee Grand Prix.
The English Riviera Airshow (4th-5th June) in Paignton will feature breath-taking air displays over the stunning natural amphitheatre of South Devon’s beautiful bay. The event will attract spectators from across the country and is supported by the RAF (including the Red Arrows).
On 5 June, a classic car run will travel 70 miles through Cornwall, from Bodmin to Penzance. Organised by the Rotary Club of Bodmin, this social classic car run will include 70 beautiful British vehicles – one for each year of The Queen’s reign. The earliest car will be a 1952 MG TD and the latest a 2022 electric Jaguar.
