The 37 member hoteliers who make up the Pride of Britain consortium know all about working together for common objectives. But did you know that Pride of Britain has a host of commercial partners too?
They include American Express, Beam Global Spirits & Wine (now trading as Maxxium), Bibendum Wines, BMW (UK) Ltd, Bruce Stevenson Risk Management, First Drinks Brands, Hildon water, Lloyds TSB Cardnet, Lynx Purchasing, Louis Latour Wines, Moet & Chandon, Molton Brown and Paddy & Scott’s coffee.
The consortium also has strong affilliations with other hotel collections abroad, including Ireland’s Blue Book, Classic Retreats in Southern Africa and Historic Hotels of Europe.
We are members of the country’s leading trade body for our sector, the British Hospitality Association (BHA) and try to play our part in the wider industry through involvement with the Master Innholders, Institute of Hospitality, Tourism Society and the leading charities, Hospitality Action (which gives help to people from the trade who have fallen on hard times) and Springboard UK (which helps disadvantaged youngsters get into worthwhile jobs).
They say you can’t have too many friends in this industry. How true!
