Due to his absence on a sales trip in Australia, and the absence of the hotel’s MD David Morgan-Hewitt who is on a sales trip in the USA, the award was received on Mr Goring’s behalf by Peter Hancock of Pride of Britain Hotels, of which The Goring is a longstanding member.
