The Trevilder Restaurant provides our guests with excellent, unspoilt views out across Bigbury Bay to Bolt Tail. Head Chef, Hugh Miller, creates a mouth-watering combination of local and traditional ingredients. The Terrace Bar is open all year round for delicious lunches. The Rock Pool Bistro is open from May-September for Al Fresco dining. With an open kitchen and glass windows all around, the Rock Pool is a taste of the Mediterranean at home.

On M5 at J31 continue forward onto A38 (Plymouth bound). At Buckfastleigh on the A38, take the A384 into Totnes, then the A381 towards Kingsbridge. After 10 miles, turn right at a mini-roundabout onto A379 towards Churchstow. At the roundabout beyond Churchstow, turn left onto B3197 then right into a line signposted to Thurlestone.

The South West’s Slapton Ley Nature Reserve
Slapton Ley Nature Reserve the largest natural lake in south-west England, and is a half an hour drive from Thurlestone Hotel. Although the reserve is only separated from the sea by a narrow shingle bar, it is entirely fresh water. Trails can be traced around the reserve, and events are held throughout the year so that visitors can enjoy the great outdoors of Devon.
Agatha Christie’s House in Brixham
The elegant Greenway house and garden is situated in close proximity to the small fishing town of Brixham, and is a 25 mile drive from Thurlestone Hotel. Once the wonderful holiday home of famous author Agatha Christie, Greenway is now an open house to visitors who wish to explore the family’s collections which include an array of archaeological pieces, Tubridgeware and botanical China. Admission to the house is £9 per adult, and £5 per child.
