Judges Country House Hotel
Yarm, Yorkshire
The accolades and praise that have been heaped on Judges Country House Hotel would warrant a page of their own.
Instead of reprinting them, we’ll tell you why we think it’s such a special destination.
Settle back into a world of crackling fires, unobtrusive service and deep soft furnishings; a home from home for the travelling judges for whom this was their country lodgings. Hence today’s name. Take all the atmosphere of a 19th century gentleman’s club; refined relaxation, a sense of camaraderie and belonging amongst polished walnut and leather and then bring it into the 21st century.
Replace the hushed, polite conversation of bygone days with the sounds of joviality, kinship, celebration and gatherings of friends and family. Set in timeless period elegance, with attention to the smallest detail. And you’re some way to understanding the pages and pages of awards and accolades.
