A long distance walking trail that runs between the market town of Chipping Campden in the north and the city of Bath in the south. The 102 miles trail runs for most of the length of the Cotswold escarpment, passing through many picturesque villages and close to a number of historic sites.
With the impossibly charming Cotswolds as the stage, Ellenborough Park is the place to live out your fantasies of grandeur, for a little while, at least. Built from classic honey toned Cotswold stone that radiates in the light, these magnificent surroundings are the place to escape reality.
Tucked deep in one of the largest Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the house is a grand retreat. Opulent antiques, enormous stone fireplaces and wood panelled rooms mark the manor’s extensive history, it was built in the 15th century and many of the period features are still here to discover.
For equestrian fans the location of this special country house is unique too. Perched above the world-famous Cheltenham Racecourse guests are rewarded with uninterrupted views and even a private track into the park. Be a darling and ring the bell for the chauffeur would you? The race is about to start.
