Devonshire Honey Cake

  • 125g Honey
  • 110g Butter
  • 50g Dark brown sugar
  • 2 Free-range eggs
  • 150g Self-raising flour


  1. Place the honey, butter and sugar into a pan and heat together until the mixture starts to boil.
  2. Take off the heat and allow to cool down to room temperature.
  3. Beat the eggs into the honey mix, then fold in the flour.
  4. Pour the cake batter into a cake tin and cook for 30 minutes at 160°c.
