Sissinghurst Castle

Set in the ruin of an Elizabethan manor house, Sissinghurst Castle is located in beautiful Weald of Kent – just over half an hours’ drive away from Eastwell Manor. The gardens, made internationally famous in the 1930s by Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicholson is divided into small gardens rooms all with a distinctive character. In the surrounding areas, visitors can picnic, stroll or dog walk in the open countryside and woodland. The castle is open every day with some exclusion in November and December.
