With a mill on-site since at least 903 AD, this site has over 1000 years of history and is in an area of conservation. The entire production of Bombay Sapphire Gin takes place here in the sleepy North Hampshire village of Whitchurch. The entire site is self-sufficient, using energy from the River Test, the purest chalk-stream in the UK, which runs through the grounds. The building itself is a marvel to see – part Victorian, part new-age – with an ineractive and eye-opening tour. Not only this but you can try the botanicals which make up the gin – and the gin itself! Please check the website for ticket information.
