Dormy House

It was a great night for Pride of Britain’s member hoteliers, scooping several of the top AA awards at a glittering ceremony at the Grosvenor House in London on September 22nd.

Hotel of the Year for England was named as Dormy House, Worcestershire which recently underwent a multi million pound refurbishment to much acclaim. The award was sponsored by PoB commercial partners Temple Spa.

Small Hotel Group of the Year was won by the Eden Collection, owners of eight outstanding hotels which include two Devon members of Pride of Britain: Bovey Castle and Buckland Tout Saints.

And it didn’t end there. The Wine Award for Wales went to The Grove at Narberth and the coveted “Chefs’ Chef of the Year” prize went to Nathan Outlaw whose extensive work in hospitality includes his role as mastermind of the Michelin starred Outlaws at The Capital in London.

Congratulations to all of them, and to the many other Pride of Britain members who continue to hold copious AA red stars and rosettes.
