Children
Several suites and rooms are specially designed to accommodate families and, for those holidaying without their nanny, baby-sitting can be arranged with Reception. The safe, sandy beach with shallows, rock pools and an easy approach from the garden is a child's paradise. The sheltered bay is perfect for safe swimming.

Additional notes: The Nare is are the only Four Red Star hotel in Cornwall and has been the highest rated hotel in Cornwall every year for the last 15 years. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at The Nare, in the gardens, and in your room. All dogs checking into the hotel are charged and have dinner included from their own Table d'Hôte menu. Dogs are welcome to "stretch their legs" in the field behind the car park.
Interesting Extras
The Nare also has its own yacht, a Cornish Crabber called the Maggie O'Nare. Skippered by Toby Ashworth, it is available for private hire and is ideal for mackerel fishing, exploring creeks, swimming from and gentle sailing on Carrick Roads and the Fall River.

The Cocktail Bar - The Drawing Room and the Sitting Room are traditionally decorated with lots of sofas and armchairs to relax in, read the papers and even enjoy a quiet snooze.
