At The Lake Country House there are some fabulous weekend rates available if you would like to relax, spend sometime with your family or to have a romantic weekend away with your loved one.

A welcoming Welsh country house set in 50 acres with Rhododendron lined pathways and riverside walks. The rooms are filled with fine antiques, paintings and fresh flowers; the perfect place to relax. Excellent food is served in their award-winning restaurant - Conde Nast Johansens “Most Excellent Restaurant 2005.

The Spa offers a wide range of health and beauty treatments, swimming pool, gym, sauna and hot tub with wonderful views overlooking the lake.

Guests can fish for Trout or Salmon on the lake and river Irfon that runs through the grounds. Other facilities include a nine-hole par 3 golf course, tennis court, croquet lawn and billiards room.

The Lake is calm and comfort epitomised, fine antiques and sumptuous sofas beside log fires. Award winning candlelit restaurant with an outstanding wine list.

The Kingfisher Spa provides a wide range of health and beauty treatments along with a swimming pool, gym, sauna and hot tub with wonderful views overlooking the lake. Trout and Salmon Fishing, Par 3 Golf Course, Tennis, Croquet and Clay Pigeon Shooting are all available within the grounds. Horse riding can be arranged with the local stables.

Spring & Summer Fishing Breaks

A great chance to come and fish our newly stocked lake or 3.5 miles of riverbank situated in the heart of mid Wales. Our lake is newly stocked with brown trout and rainbow trout while the river boasts freshwater Salmon and Grayling. All Fishing facilities are situated within the grounds and are an easy walk from the main house. If your partner does not share your enthusiasm for fishing our spa break gives them the opportunity to be pampered in the Kingfisher Spa.
