About Dormy House
After a long-anticipated revamp, Dormy House is now recognised as one the leading luxury boutique hotels in the Cotswolds.
The building, which began life as a 17th Century farmhouse, has undergone a loving facelift from top to toe. The multi-million pound refurbishment includes the creation of House Spa, a stunning new destination spa by Sparcstudio and Neil Howard, due to open in January 2014.
Returning and new guests will find the hotel has undergone quite a transformation at the hands of London design house Todhunter Earle Interiors and Cotswold architect Tony D’Alton. Original Cotswold features – old stone walls, open fireplaces, flagstone floors and oak panelling – blend with modern and Scandinavian touches. A beautiful garden has been created by award-winning garden designer and TV presenter Chris Beardshaw. This links to The Garden Room, a contemporary restaurant in the hands of Head Chef Paul Napper.
For more informal dining, from brunch to evening cocktails, The Potting Shed offers down-to-earth dining and drinks around a large welcoming bar. Its food is hearty and rustic, sourced from the best local suppliers. The remodelled Dormy House is the epitome of farmhouse chic.
