The golden Cotswold stone of this charming manor - originally a farmhouse - creates an atmosphere of solidity and tranquillity. The outbuildings have been transformed to complement the main house. Calcot Spa, with its pool, sauna, steam room, gym and hot tub, offers a wide range of treatments. A medieval barn has been restored to create The Barn at Calcot, a self-contained venue for weddings and business meetings.

With a wealth of interesting places surrounding Calcot - the historic city of Bath, the ancient wool towns of the Cotswolds and the Cotswold Way footpath, the hotel is a perfect place from which to explore. Antique-hunting in nearby towns can absorb many enjoyable hours, as can walking or relaxing by the pool or a log fire.

There are two restaurants at Calcot: the pub-style Gumstool Inn and the elegant Conservatory Restaurant, offering very different dining experiences.

Calcot Manor warmly welcomes families with children, and special facilities are offered to ensure their comfort and entertainment while not intruding on the enjoyment of other hotel guests.

Each bedroom includes satellite television and high-specification music systems right through to little touches like books, magazines, fresh fruit, fluffy towels and robes, and large bottles of Aromatherapy Associates’ toiletries. The Conservatory Restaurant

Elegant, informal, traditional, welcoming, The Conservatory Restaurant is exclusively for adult guests. You are welcome to eat as a family in the Gumstool Inn between 5.30pm and 9.30pm (9.00pm on Sundays) or at lunchtime.

The Gumstool Inn

The Gumstool Inn is a traditional country pub that serves a wide choice of favourites with a finesse you wouldn't normally expect from a pub menu. Michael Croft, the Executive Chef Director, has created a menu bursting with beautifully cooked food, the freshest local produce, and tempting Mediterranean flavours.

More relaxed in the Gumstool.

• Dinner: in the Conservatory is served until 9.30pm (9.00pm on Sunday)
• The Gumstool is open until 11.00pm (Sunday: 10.30pm).

Gumstool menu is available during pub opening hours. Sandwiches and drinks available 24 hours a day.

Bar:

The Gumstool’s log fire and lodge-like feel help to make a charming country-pub environment in which to relax. Also an elegant hotel lounge for pre-dinner drinks.

When you arrive, you'll find a soft-lit courtyard, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a heated outdoor pool surrounded by stone-green slate. But step inside and you'll see what really makes it special. Tasteful decor, artwork and lighting. Comfortable and contemporary furniture in the lounge. Treatment rooms, each with their own styles and colour palettes.

Calcot Manor lies 12 miles from both Junctions 17 (via Malmesbury and the A429) and 18 (via the A46) of the M4 and Junction 13 of the M5.

The hotel is situated three miles west of the town of Tetbury on the A4135, just before the crossroads of the A4135 and the A46. Driving time from London is under two hours.

Abbey Suite

Overlooking a delightful walled garden, with an adjoining registrar’s office, this is contemporary in design and can accommodate up to 100 guests for a civil wedding ceremony

The Thomas Suite

Named after an 18th Century member of parliament and former owner of Calcot, this spacious suite is located on the first floor and also overlooks the garden below. This is the ideal place to feed and entertain up to 100 guests

The Conservatory Restaurant

Available when Calcot is booked on an exclusive basis, it is light and airy, with stunning views over the Cotswolds countryside. After the ceremony, your guests will head through the front entrance of Calcot’s main manor house for their wedding breakfast or dinner. A highly-acclaimed restaurant that can accommodate up to 100 guests

If you would like to continue your celebrations well into the evening, then The Barn will welcome you back again as the perfect party venue, being totally self-contained and set back from the main part of the hotel. Here your numbers can increase to 150 guests and special menus and entertainment can be organised.
