About Dormy House
For 35 years, this lovely old 17th Century farmhouse near Broadway has been the perfect Cotswold retreat: a place to celebrate with friends or dine by candlelight. Four AA stars and two rosettes have been earned through impeccable service, fine, locally-sourced menus and attention to detail.
Now exciting plans are taking shape to turn Dormy House into one of the finest small luxury hotels in The Cotswolds. Around £10m has been spent on refurbishing the entire hotel and creating the stunning new House Spa.
Some of Britain's hottest young designers are involved in the project. Todhunter Earle, the London-based team who worked on Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons, is creating a relaxed but luxurious feel in the public spaces and individually-styled bedrooms. The grounds are being transformed by award-winning garden designer and TV presenter Chris Beardshaw.
Then there's House Spa, due to open in January 2014. Sparcstudio and spa developer Neil Howard are behind the design and concept of this luxury boutique spa with large pool, gym, thermal treatments and champagne nail bar. Dormy House reopens in August 2013.
